Bam,is what stands out most among the ambulance ride, the three I.V.",The two series of Xrays, one cat scam with dye added, and the guy standing over me and saying,"I'm sorry sir".

I was riding to a friends house to meet up with several riders for a 200 mile run. I almost mede it to his house when a BIG Dodge Ram pulled out in front of me.

I spent several hours in the emergency room and am now at home. I can barley move.
the bike is a mess. It took the hit in the engine, number four.

I used the M.S.C. technique of brake and steer but the was not enough room and I hit him in the front and glanced off and hit the shoulder.

I moaned and groaned for three hours.

I am going to have to ge a lawyer on this one.

Talk at you later.

If I can move tomorrow I will take pictures, but I don't think I will be able to move for a couple of days.

Oh yeah, Thank you Jesus. :) Roy

Wow! I'm really sorry to hear of your accident; I'm just relieved it wasn't any worse. Hang in there and get well, and yes, by all means, get an attorney. Otherwise you'll have little chance of being fairly compensated. Just keep in mind that in a few weeks you'll be back to your good old self and working on your bike again. Ed

Really sorry to hear this happen to you Roy, sounds like you are mostly intact though which is good but you have the right idea, get a lawyer if there is any doubt of fault or ability of the other guy to pay. Sore is one thing, dislocations, sprains and such can come back year after year to haunt you.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Wow, that is a bummer! Good to here you are going to be OK. That is a risk we all take each time out, unfortunately. Hopefully all will be right, get healed up, bike back on the road, and a nice payout from the Insurance.

Yikes! Most unfortunate happening to you Roy. Like everyone else, you will be sore and there may be some underlying issues to deal with. Glad though you are alive still and your family can be spared unimaginable grief. Counsel is a good idea. It's good to protect your future for you and your family.
