U.S Grand Prix 2013...yearly photobombing

well...it's here again...and I as in past years am gonna shoot about 200 pics and post em...if you are the sensitive type..or for those many members who like to talk shit about me ...then feel free to not click on this useless thread....
That said...here we go boys and girls.....

went up to the track(in a car) today and got three day tickets and paddock passes ..met a cool dude up at the corkscrew taking pics for their facebook page and he had us come back to the race office and gave us a free 2013 poster and stickers...
The place is a circus of workers ...rolling out grass and filling the dry lake with water and blue coloring...tents..painting...banner crews at work...even got the boys out of the local jail up at the corkscrew raking the sand traps....

by Wednesday the place will be crawling with folks and by Friday tickets only...but today we could drive all the way up to the top of the corkscrew and all around pit lane and the island

Andretti hairpin...V.I.P tower..back of the podium ...campgrounds...oh and rider of ...most likely the only KZ900 to show up...times change quick boys

Great pictures trianglelaguna!!!! Get some good pictures of the old timers that will be there.

Have not been back to Laguna since they stopped running 500cc GP bikes. Got no use for those oil and gas separators they call moto gp. All that traction control, anti-wheelie, and all those other computer gizmos and for what. Bring back REAL riders. Real men rode 500 Grand Prix!!!

Nothing beats the aroma of race gas, and R30 plus the sound of a Tz500 warming up in the crisp morning air. The days of King Kenny and Randy Mamola doing side by side wheelies out of the last corner are still in the back of my mind!!!! Heard King Kenny might be riding another one of his old Two Stroke Yamaha's around the track. Now that I would pay money to see.

Having taken the first two victories at the Californian track when it returned full-time to the MotoGP™ calendar eight years ago, Kentucky’s Hayden only increased his popularity with the local crowds.

“It’s nice to be going home to Laguna, which is a race that I love and that’s obviously very special to me,” he says. “The circuit is quite unique and it’s not easy, as you need to be confident and attack the corners. It’s quite a demanding, technical track and a lot of the corners are linked together; you really have to hit your marks there in order to be fast.

“I wish we were headed there with more speed and confidence, but the reality is this. Up until now, we certainly haven’t been getting the results we’d like by any means, but with the summer break coming up it would be nice to go there, have some fun and leave with a good taste in our mouths.”

Eight races into the current campaign, the 2006 title winner sits ninth in the Riders’ Championship and is trailing GO&FUN Honda Gresini’s Alvaro Bautista by a single point.
