B) Nov.18 and I'm still getting some riding in but that is about to change , at least for the foreseeable future.
74 deg tee shirt riding today, there were bikes everywhere B)
Tomorrow rain and then it's supposed to tank for next week.
Oh well, it's been a great year with no problems.

Here is the pinata out in front of Fat Daddy's a Harley bar in Seneca IL, they don't like Kawasaki's much :woohoo:

It's been in the 80's this week. Dropping down into the 60-70's from now on. Time for the leathers.
Can you make an offer on that little Kaw?

That poor thing has been hanging there for almost 15 years now, the original owner hung it before he killed himself on his bike.
I'm sure they'd love to trade me though
I've been to that bar for a benefit before but it is one of the few places around here that I wouldn't park my bike and leave it unattended.

I learned to ride on a KE100 many moons ago, so that photo kinda breaks my heart. :(

Not as warm here in NJ, but still cracking 60 on occasion, so I've been out on the bikes as much as possible.

Safe riding to all. :)

A perfect day here in Southern Ontario for the last ride of the year. 18Centigrade and clear skies today but unfortunately we will have snow on Sunday. Got the oil and filter changed this afternoon and all the other stuff to winterise and bike is now under a cover in the carport. I wont look at it again until about St Patricks day.

For those of you still riding in northern parts stay safe and watch out for wet leaves. Almost lost it the other day

Yup.... time to reconsider.
75° to 82° the last few days here in the front range of Denver.... and then the bottom fell out yesterday.
Tuesday I got a 175 mile ride in with a couple buddies!
1"-2" of snow yesterday and last evening, lows in the teens!!

When I moved back to Oregon in 1979 I found that I needed a motorcycle endorsement from the Department of Motor Vehicles. To get it I had to pass a riding test. It was in November and I was asked to do a figure 8 in a parking lot that was covered in wet leaves, on my 900. I told the tester "no". He says "why not?" I point at the leaves and tell him I don't want to crash so he says if I know that I know how to ride and gave me a pass. Good times,,,,,

I live near Portland, Oregon and my rider is a '76 KZ900 I bought new. I'm also in the process of restoring another one and a '73 Z1.
