Found this add in craigslist: dallas.craigslist.org/ftw/mcy/2280058449.html

Looks like they are having a vintage race at Cresson Motorsports Ranch. Maybe the Dallas area members could check it out.

Josh...do you know if there is any type of motorcycle racing held at the Texas World Speedway in College Station? Many years ago I used to attend frequently and there was a strong club presence.

The CMRA does race at Texas World. I haven't been to one of their events yet, but a co-worker tells me that they have some vintage racing. Obviously most of the CMRA classes will be newer bikes.

BTW I found a link to the event held at Cresson: www.thelonestarclassic.com/ Looks like they will have a bike show and some different events besides just the races. It would be nice to get a similar event going near Houston.

So, did you make it out there? A member at the S****i forum had a couple of good pics. He even got some shots of Kawi's.

Did anyone here get to this show? I would like to know if would be worth the drive from Houston to Dallas.

Don't have an answer for you (obviously since I'm not in TX), but I'm planning on going to the AHRMA race up here at Road America in June. I'd like to get involved with them at some point when I have some extra cash doing something like CoreyClough or TurboGuzzi are doing. Looks like a blast!
