Y’all are welcome. If you come across some reliable info for the missing Zephyr and copsicle numbers, let me know and I will add it.

Great job; I'm sure it took a LOT of time and effort to collect and post all that information!!! Thank you for pulling all that info together and putting it once place!

I did notice one thing that might be a bit off and that is the engine number for the 1977 KZ650-C1. The spreadsheet shows the engine number for the 1977 KZ650-C1 as starting with KZ650BE01785208, but my 1977 KZ650-C1 has KZ650BE024201 as its engine number. I bought the bike new in April 1977, so I know it's the original engine and engine number, but I don't know what the first 1977 KZ650-C1 engine number is. Ed

Thanks, Ed.
What does the back of your fsm say? After wading into this mess, I am less confident that Kawasaki kept really tight records. It is also complicated by the times big K used the same engine series in different bike models

Unfortunately, the back of the manual isn't much help. Below is what it shows. Ed

Ed, that beginning number should be 017852. I am not sure why I put the 08 on the end. I shall blame it on COVID.........
I will try to get that correction posted this week. Thanks for pointing out my error.

That is excellent work & it looks like you have put a lot of effort into it. Thanks.
I do have a quick question though, I have a KZ750b twin, my engine No is KZ750BE039465. I contacted Kawasaki UK as I wanted to date it correctly to get an age related No plate.
They contacted Kawasaki Japan who checked their records & said it was an early B4 manufactured in July 1978.
I did query this as I thought all B4's were made in 1979, but I was told early B4 were actually manufactured in 1978 & then shipped around the world, although a lot of them were not actually sold until 1979.
They also confirmed my engine No & frame No are correct for the bike.
As you can imagine I am now a bit confused as your list shows the 1979 KZ750B4 starting at KZ750BE033101 & mine is KZ750BE039465 & 1978?
I am sorry about querying this being a newbie to the forum.

Great work!

One small correction please:
1981 GPz550 D1 has twin rear shocks, not mono.
