have you tried removing the mototor with that bracing yet?I have been way too busy with side projects! Between the week I spent playing with my new tubing roller, and the time I've spent putting together the stuff I need to make side cover molds and vacuum bagging supplies for carbon fiber covers, I have lost sight of the main objective! I got back to the roots this afternoon and finished off the front cradle cross brace. It's not perfect, but it's close enough that with the header in place, NO ONE will ever notice.
Now the only bracing I have left to do is the steering head and rear top tube sheet bracing, with the top center to perimeter tube braces, and I'll be done with the frame. The sheet braces will be MUCH easier that that damn front "X" brace or my upper shock mount

Still recovering, some days are better than others.

Yeah, you'll need your grinder to roughen up the ABS for resin adhesion. I shattered a RF900 fairing and glassed it back together. Just make sure your fit up is good, otherwise you'll get stress cracking in the paint down the road

Cloth is definately stronger than matting. Chopped strand matting is used for "bulking" up a laminate where strength isn't as important as thickness. Use cloth

And when you do it Mark, orient each successive layer of cloth 45 degrees to the last one. This will criss cross the glass fibers in 4 directions instead of 2, giving you a more multidirectional strength.

Continuing with the bracing, I cut and tacked the top rear down tube sheet bracing:
Next will be the neck bracing. Looking at the Sanctuary Frame pics, it looks like the neck sheet bracing is more than one dimensional. Has anyone gone to the extra effort to semi box in the neck gussets?
