Two stroke, tripple KZ550

WOW RD350 my friend had 3 of these bikes. We were 16 at the time. Those bikes ran great and even better every once and a while:P . For some reason or other every now and then it would ran like a raped date. Other times it would run like a regular bike. Something to do with the injection was going bad on them. BUT man when they ran:woohoo: :woohoo: :silly: :blink: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I've noticed with all 2-strokes. If you run them a bit on the lean side, they rev faster and put out a bit more power.

My first bike was a 74 rd400.. Flat out screamed.. Bought it for $100, I was like 14 yrs old and str8 off a moped. Had to push start it, and a friend was pushing when it finally kicked in.. Rode that wheelie for like 2 city blocks with my legs flying behind it.. Been hooked ever since!

I doubt you had a RD400 in 1974 because they weren't made till the 1976 model year. That said, the RD 350 and 400 was a great bike from Yamaha

I just remembered that my friend got these letter sticker and turned Yamaha into Yomama!:evil: :blink:

There was a guy down the street that always rode those 2 strokers when I was a kid. I never did understand why until much later..RIIIINNnn nnn nnn nnnn. :laugh:

My first street bike was a yamaha 100 twin, Im pretty sure it was a 4 speed but man that old thing would fly!
