Mile high gang - swap meet in NoCo

Kzwolfsr has been taking the brunt of trying to organize meets/ride, so I thought I'd try this time.

This Sunday, July 1st, MotoHaus Coffee (located on 287 between Fort Collins and Loveland)is hosting their 2nd Annual Vintage Motorcycle Swap Meet from 9a.m. to 5 p.m.

I talked to the owner, Max, and he said all sorts of bikes are represented and everyone was welcome (one of his first bikes was a KZ750 twin). Not sure how much stuff will be there for KZ's, but it would be fun to at least meet people.

What I was thinking was meeting there between 9 a.m -10 a.m., check things out, have a cup of coffee and then take a run up in the mountains through some twisties. Open to suggestions, but thought maybe shoot up to Masonville (great biker leather shop there), over to Rist Canyon, then down to Verns for a snack....good hour ride...on my bike anyways

If anyone does want to set up a KZ swap booth, they're free, just limited so give me a yell if we want to get one, I've just got a couple of side covers to sell. The address is 6712 S. College, Fort Collins, CO if you want to google a map.

I'll see if I can post this on the events area too.

Hey link, can you post that on craigslist? It would be better for everyoneelse, and include Kz's, CB's, GS's and whoever I missed out.. I look forward to this, but I will only get to leave the house at around 1-ish, after I finish the chores. I am trying to get in contact with Kwaka1000j, Chris, where are you? He's the kzrider that accompanied me on the first mile high ride.

I think the owner posted the event on Denver's CL on the 25th.

I'm cool with coming up there later if that means Wolf, and everybody else can go. Plus that means that we can all herd our kaws (pun intended)up I-25 together. This is cool, it means we could truly have a meeting of the Mile High KZR chapter.B) B)

Ok....looks like we'll meet at MotoHaus around 10 a.m., probably stick around at the swap meet for an hour or so and then go for a ride. We'll stop at Vern's at the end for some cold iced tea and maybe lunch.

Hope to see everyone there!
