If you get it make sure you paint or powdercoat the ugly brown covers. That and not having a kawi green paint option is the only problem I have with the zrx.

Well, I had to do it. I went back yesterday and bought it, got abit more money off the price and full service/detail being done on it. I will be getting it next Saturday and will definately be posting some pics. It is the first new bike I have ever owned, so it will definately be new not having to worry about tinkering, etc for once!

Very cool. I have been contemplating a 2005 ZRX (last year). Let me know what you think of it (riding position, power and brakes).

Also, I have seen where you can replace that front headlight bucket with a single light (just like the KZs) and it looks really cool -- actually looks much better than what they shipped it with.

Well done. You wont be disappointed with the ZRX. I'm onto my second one (2003 and then 2005) and wont swap for anything, unless Ma Kawa brings out a ZRX1400, in which case I might be tempted.

The ZRX1200 is fast enough to keep up with most of the tupperware rockets, atleast to 150 mph.

It will hold its own on the twisty canyon / back roads, although it would be better if it could loose a few pounds in weight and some money spent on the front suspension (Gold Valves and Racetech springs) do wonders.

It makes a great sports/tourer. Just throw on some soft saddle bags and away you go.

All in all, a great "all rounder". :) :) :)
