Thanks but stock exhaust is gone, carbs are gone and sidecovers. Rest is there .

I may still know where to get a titled Kz900 with title for cheap but it is in real rough shape ( located in Ottawa IL )

Hey Blue, I'd invest a $1000 to get that. Title, Frame, looks like the cases are the original match also. Original front rim. Guy took the time to plug off the ex, intake ports it looks like.
I don't know what your cheap is? But get it if you can! Sit on it! It will out perform your 401K
The KZ900 drum brake is the " Next Z1 " collectible. Original, close to restored of course!

That serial number indicates it was the one of the last 8 KZ900's built, and it was actually sold in 1977.

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.
