Spoke with irishwill today. He's alive and kicking, and looking to get back into his bikes after using a RR Xing arm to slow his head down from 200KPH to 0
Dude is lucky to be alive

Jesus! Did he crush a vertebrae or what?

That's a sobering reminder. I pass through a railroad crossing every day on the way to work.

Wow! That is amazing he is still alive. He is fortunate he didn't run into the train instead. Best wishes to his recovery.

I think he said he crushed/broke 5 or 6 vertebrae? But luckily none of them threatened his spinal column. He just went back to work, so he is recovering well. :)

Hi,

new member here also looking for irishwill. I have a 1999 Honda VTR1000F that has been an on-goign project for me since I bought it back in 2001. My next step will be to fit a set of 2005 ZX-10R forks, which will be mated to a set of GSX-R triple clamps. AS the ZX forks are shorter than the OEM forks, I would like to get my hands on a gullwing upper triple and was led here by Google. If anyone can help me get in touch with irishwill it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance and happy New Year everyone :)

cheers
Micky

P.S. You can see pics of my bike here (in case you are curious/interested): www.superhawkforum.com/forums/members/mi...-study-evolution-28/
