It's a little louder than before. I could put in some new packing.

Even with my un-packed competition baffle, my bike is quiet next to any gnarly Harley.

Just after I did this clip the bolt loosened up again. I cut another bolt 1/4" longer and used a lock washer on it and went into town for a hardened bolt. 12.9 bolt. I don't understand why it kept getting loose but this time I'm going to put a drop of blue loctite on the spindle. I'll have to heat it up to get it off next time but at least I have the proper tool to take it off again. Going to retorque the head bolts while I'm at it. Then the carbs.

Hey Steve your bike sounds really good, I hope she pulls like she sounds.
I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.
