Put the 3rd and 4th coats on. Next will be wet sanding when I get the clear coat but for now I'll just look and admire it. :)

Nice looking bike. Did I miss what happened with the crank discussion, replaced it?

I wound up buying a 903 crank and have the 750 crank for sale. Got more compression and ponies. The 750 crank weighs the same but the shorter stroke lowered the compression.

Steve, What brand of clear coat do you use?

I've tried all of the off the shelf auto paints even the clear engine paints and was disappointed with the results. This time I'm going to use the Spray Max 2K. Some of our members recommend it and have posted beautiful work with it. This will be a test case for me.

From what I've read I may have waited too long to clear coat the tank. I might have to run into town and get another can of base coat. That being the case I can fix the small blemishes before I do it.

Took the extra steps so I should be able to finish today. Hope it was worth it.

Got to fix the seat before I can put the new tank on the bike.
