Yes its pretty terrible here. I havent been on my bike in nearly 3 weeks. The East Coast hasnt had a winter like this in about 3 years. Sucks for us avid riders.

It's gotta be tough. Out here I can ride in the summer if it's before 10 or after 9. Even then it's too hot to enjoy. It' should be in the 50/60s now. Still can get a snap freeze though. A friend said it has to do with the wobble of the earth. I tend to agree with him.

We thaw out next week. I wonder what my riding skills will be like. Ive never been off a bike longer than a month

Its over now. It will be messy but streets are being cleared. Whats the fastest youve gone on that 1000? Ive heard they get up to 125-140 tops

When it was new in 75 I hit 1000 miles on the 405 at 2 in the morning, dropped down to 2nd and banged it through the gears tucked in with my glasses just above the tach and speedo. It read 155 when I backed off. Who knows how fast I was really going but the street lights looked like a picket fence. Having the speedo at 130 is a almost daily event but don't tell I said so.:whistle: .
