Absolutely beautiful bikes! I am jelly! lol

PS: you should edit your post, and insert the bike pics into the post body, so that they show up when scrolling through the thread. Just a suggestion bro, I realize not everyone has the luxury of using a real computer anymore, and flaky internet connections don't help either.

I just plain don't have room for a bunch of bikes, and before I had my liquidation sale, I couldn't get to my workbench without being jabbed in the arse by at least 1 handlebar. :-)

Now sold< My 1980 Yamaha XS1100SG that I brought back from the dead.

Bikesssss :-)

There are several others that have not been mentioned and have all been sold with the exception of my Kz1000. I tell people, not for sale, not even considering it.

This is my 1986 Honda Rebel CMX450C. (made from 1986-1987)

I rescued this one from the scrap heap, bought an original Ignition switch / key / toolbox and did the Missouri abandoned vehicle procedure took it to MSHP troop F in Jeff city (Twice) to obtain a clean Missouri title. This whole rescue process took almost a year, and I think I MIGHT have put 50 miles on it after I restored it. It did hold it's own on the interstate, just too small of a bike for my taste. It did have HP ~equivalent to the Ironhead Sporty I sold 4 years ago, and NOTHING ever fell off of it, not ONCE! :-)

Rebel Restored Right side. Without paint

Rebel restored left side. without paint.

Doesn't everybody put their bikes together in the living room? :-D

Motor was seized. I bought a replacement motor with 450 miles in Memphis after advertising on CL for parts, I hit a gold mine. The donor was a barn find from his uncle in Georgia. He used the front end and speedo on a HD sporty. I saw the miles, on the rebel speedo. His sporty was also not running and doa, since this guy was butchering that bike too.

I got a ton of parts and an original Honda Ignition cylinder with the correct Honda Rebel key.

The motherload of Honda Rebel parts. The gold frame is some suckzuk coblle job with the swingarm mount from the rebel chopped of and sitting in this abortion. I have no idea WHY this morton decided to reinvent the wheel, when he already had a honda frame that all that stuff was already mounted in.. He probably had a screwed up title for the zuk frame, and figured that was one way to title this abortion.

Yes it is. I bought that on ebay for about $25 back in 2008. It needs a lot of repairing, but would be a perfect shroud for a steel fuel cell.

25 bucks What a deal!!!

Here is my H2 750 back in '73 with a Monotrack tank. When it was full of fuel, it felt like I had a huge bowl of Jello between my legs!!! Not much of a confidence builder. I knew if I crashed, it would explode like a gasoline filled water balloon!!!!!

I had Morris mags on my bike like a month after I saw them on the factory Team Kawasaki H2r's.

Monotrack tank on my H2.

Hi bluej58. Not busy. Crowded up top for the cars but no problem for two wheels. Last weekend of the season. I probably got out of there in time before the mid day/ evening jam.

Very nice pictures guys. Good job.
On the mount evans question, I've been up there probably 40 times over the years, dating back to when the store was still operating that burned down in 1979. It's always a great ride up there.
Can be and usually is brutally cold and windy, so be prepared for 40 degree temps at best up there with 30 or 40mph wind.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

Agreed, good stuff. I always wondered who's been up there 40x or more. TFTT. Who was the fastest? Did they get a knee down?
