Like a couple of others here I'm looking carefully at electric vehicles, mainly LD trucks. Also looking at electric hybrid but electric range is an issue. Most hybrids can travel about 50 to 75 km on battery before switching over to fossil fuel. I would like to travel about 150 km or so.
Also looking at hydrogen. There are some Nissan test vehicles currently running in Vancouver.

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

Here is a battery powered bike waiting in line to do a couple laps before the (Springfield Mile) 9-4-16

Cool , how do you like the hub mounted motor?
Here's my indian board track barn find replica.
I'm waiting to sell it and build my next one. I plan to do a "what if " Tesla (the inventor) built a motorcycle to race against the gas powered bikes.
I want to make it look like it's made from 1900 electrics and dangerous.

Very nice! did you build that from scratch?
I don't know anything about electric bikes other then the new ones are quiet rockets.
If I were to get/make one it would be a mountain bike with lots of torque to hall my fat ass up hills
Sooner or later they'll get the battery's figured out and I would be on board for a car that I could charge from solar power.
Good luck with your Tesla build he had some great discovery's , I'm in the middle of a big thick book on Edison, they built things big back then.

Thanks, I started with a old schwinn and a 49cc motor kit. I hand built the rest.
In the beginning cars were supposed to be electric. ford and Edison were good friends and they were working on electric cars.
Electric cars are not new ,they had them in 1890!
