I'm I reading this correctly? The second half of the 77 year KZ900 had a KZ1000 style rear disc brake? That would explain the MC mount on my 1977 frame,

The A5's were made in August 76 and September 76.

Look at the numbers on the tag I posted, your tag has different numbers, it looks like 8 98

Check where the MC was located on the KZ 900 LTD version. This frame may have been left over and used to build an A5.
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

I feel I’ve hijacked the OP.
