My cruiser from the past, back in western Pennsylvania. mid-70's. 72 H-2. pull back bar's and 6" over tubes. Used to strap my portable 8 track player to the sissy bar and go on some magic carpet rides......

Awesome. But remember our magic carpet rides would get interrupted when the song stopped mid verse then a loud cachunk and the song would continue on the next track.

Yeah, that set up didn't help the handling much, but it was quite comfortable to ride. And I thought it looked pretty groovy back then...

I've always been shocked that the folks who came up with the 8-track system thought this was an acceptable solution. Really?

In the late 80s, 8-track tapes and players were basically free at yard sales. Which was cool if you were into a very narrow time-slice of classic rock. Based on how many duplicates I ended up with, I estimate that the best selling 8-track was Back In Black, followed by The Wall (at least in my neighborhood).

I know how hard it is to keep the front end down on a Triple. Can't imagine it with bars further back

I did the same thing to my H2 for a short time
6 bend pull backs
and a forked sissybar
