Roy-B-Boy-B passed yesterday

I remember Roy. Always helpful. A great source of knowledge and a regular contributer although we havnt seen him here for a few years.

Of course, I didn't know Roy, but it's always sad + bad when an apparently good person has to go....R.I.P. Roy

When someone like Roy passes I think we all realize we're getting older and it could just as easily be us who departs.  

Years ago Roy was a moderator on Wired George's chat site and I got to appreciate his knowledge at a time when I desperately needed help to restore my Z1B.  I'm sad that he's gone.  He was a positive force in my life.

RIP Roy. I didn't know him but sounds like a well loved gentleman with  vast knowledge of the z1. He will be sadly missed I'm sure.

That's where we first met him, too.  Likely few here would be aware of that old forum.  It's where our avatar came from; a member in Norway(?). posted it & we just had to adopt it as our own.  From a Norwegian(?) motorcycle safety campaign. Good times! Small interwebs...

Truly Sad to hear a brother in arms of this discipline passed, we are getting older as participants. Sounds like he had Fun and a Lot of Friends during his time though, isn't that what counts after all?? Jeff Buddy, miss talking to You!! Hopefully You're doing well yourself?
