Nice! I was on the stretch of road in your pic just outside of Blackhawk 24 hours earlier. Incredible scenery. This is the A weekend for the aspen IMO.

A few years back it was 65-75 degrees in Denver on Thanksgiving day and I took the bike out and up through Golden Gate Canyon and down through Nederland and Boulder.
I missed the family Turkey Day dinner and everyone was really pissed at me.
I laughed and was delighted to get a 125 mile mountain ride in before hanging it up for the winter.
What great Thanksgiving Day it was indeed.

Just got back from going up to Evergreen... through Squaw Pass to Echo Lake and down Chicago Creek to Idaho Spgs... slid over to Blackhawk on 119/72 and over to Golden Gate Canyon back to the flat land and home to Brighton.
Buttoned up for a nice cool 55° ride today. Beautiful

I like the picture posted by Missionkz very, very much. I wish I could take a ride on such beautiful road on my own bike.. The complete scenery is simply awesome.

Boy not sure how I missed this for over 5 months... WOW. Well the title to the GPz changed hands and now its in my name and we can do a similar ride this year but with me on the GPz this year and not the SR650 (though that is one killer bike regardless!), would be way kewl if you could join us Mission be fun to have some more Zed pride on the ride ;)

And thanks Pops that is a reallllly flattering pic of me HAHAHAH. If I recall correctly that special little pose was when I was recounting turning in deep to a downhill opening corner right hand side off the highway to head over to Nederland and ended up leaning over far enough to catch the brake side footage and make the bike hop and cause me to leave a noticeable mark in my shorts. Glad you captured that moment and shared for everyones enjoyment LOL :P
