I was told chrome adds 5 MPH.

I like the chrome ones better. Those nuts remind me of the frankenstein monster.

Do you know why the aftermarket nuts are taller or don't have a top on them?

Because you need the extra height when decking the barrel or cylinder head, a short stock nut will bottom out on the stud.

Hey dumb question: you guys using oversized head studs on 900/1000s, how do you seal the outside four nuts so they don’t piss oil? These are the open top nuts, not the closed ones.
