Thanks and you mean the bracket on the muffler that's welded on? Any reason it would be slightly short in my case?

Yes, the bracket welded to the mufflers. I doubt if the brackets are too short. I think it more likely that the pipes are slightly bent.

They do, though I'm not sure it'll be the right size but I've a handful of them that are used for the drain plug on oil changes and the ones for my truck might be big enough to fit the header pipes.

*Edit, checked and the ones I've got are far too small unfortunately so i'll just plan on ordering the copper ones as it seems they'll get here the soonest and match the factory part numbers.

KZ900/1000 are the same size, use those if needed.

Lots of wiggling and fiddling but managed it get it all on and connected. I'd guess with an extra set of hands and doing it anywhere but on the ground/kickstand would have helped immensely but really happy with how it sounds. Much quieter and aside of a little extra weight there really shouldn't be any downside. Will try to post a video but a pic at the very least.
