Please tell me what years Mikuni sold these carbs and the price.
I have owned ten z1's and never had a set, they must be somewhat rare.

I just bought a set of new brass floats, as most used to suck in. And an old school set of stacks I got from Greg Z here. They needed new fuel T O-rings.
Sold on eBay for $1100. I also used FB drag bike type sites to advertise for the eBay ad, and I offer 12% discount if purchased off of eBay. My buy it now items are for sale local, so I can end ad at any time. It does show an increase in views on eBay. But the Japan buyers from Cali. bought them up.
Could I have gotten more? But the cheaper ones sell quicker than the crazy priced ones.
These are them, just sold last week.

I would argue nowadays you can have your period correct cake and eat it too with a set of new Keihin CRs. Easily tunable, tons of parts availability, and relatively reasonably priced.

That's what I think when I see a vintage VM29 set sell for more than a new set of CR29. The CR29 are still in production. You can get any part you need, but mostly you won't need anything because they are brand new. And they have basically all of the same circuit and settings. Seems kind of silly.I would argue nowadays you can have your period correct cake and eat it too with a set of new Keihin CRs. Easily tunable, tons of parts availability, and relatively reasonably priced.
