I got the 006 podium today and for an intermediate compound
tire it's real soft.
In fact I was looking at a hookup u-soft
at cycle gear last week and I'd say the podium is as soft or
maybe even softer.

Got to order an offset sprocket for the front and I have a spacer for the rear sprocket
to move the chain over about 3/8" then I'll let ya'll know how it work's.

Got the Shinko mounted tonight with out having to
move the chain so did a little bar hoppin to heat cycle it a few time's.
I only put about 15 mile's on it but like the way it feels

Now the bad part stopped in a warehouse area that's all concrete
and with an 8000 grand no burn out launch it was all I could do to hold on.

This tire hook's better then any tire I've had on it
My bike's never been a wheelie prone bike on the street but tonight
ridin my normal road's were the bike would spin the tire
it's carrying the front tire two feet in the air.

Tire up date!!
After a little round town riding and a 300 mile
ride this tire rock's.

Stickiest street tire I've had yet.
My bike has never been wheelie prone on the street and
now it'll carry front on roads it would blow the tire off before.

Good thing the new bars done cause I'll damn sure need it

How to kick a ZRX's a$$
480

480

480

480

480

Left lane 7.65 to a losing 7.76.

The new tire is supper sticky it was all I could do to hold it in the water.
Low 1.80's sixty ft. tripping the light with the back tire.
Only made two pass with the bar Sat. night.
One time trial run went 7.78 so first round I dialed a 7.70
and went a 7.63 and put myself out.
Sunday ran no bar got in about six time runs and beat Eric's ZRX five in a row.
Won my first round pass then a Busa put me out second round.

From the first time we went to the track
Eric's said my bike would NEVER beat his ZRX.

This was 1/8 mile still have to beat him 1/4 mile.
Last time out Eric didn't bring his bike but
a buddy Will was there with his '99 ZRX 1100
with cams, carb's, and a pipe I beat him four in a row 1/4 mile.

Simple...YOU know how to ride.....They don't ;) Still, even at that, beating the Rex in 1/4 mile says a lot!! You must have that 750 really working :)

Nice. how much did it run you to add the wheelie bars in the back? Love the effect, looks pretty cafe racer ish.
