I'll take a look at that when my bike gets back from the shop.

Again thanks!

New member need help please.
I have a Kz250DE engine 81' and i think most if not all of the wiring harness and controls.
My question is i plan on using the engine in a small 1 man dune buggy i am fabricating, and would like to know exactly the bare bones min. i need to start and run this engine. And how to wire it if possible. I am ok rebuilding carb and engine, but as far as electrical this will be new to me, only experience i have is with small engine, mostly recoil 6hp types.
So any advice, help would be much appreciated.
I plan on using a battery, and kill switch if possible.

We don't have that wiring diagram in the filebase for a 1981 KZ250D2 (CSR).
Do you have one I can work from?

this thread has a lot of information! can the 1978 kz1000 wiring diagram be used for a 1994 kz1000 police special? im not running anything fancy other than headlight, brake light, license plate light, and ignition. just wondering if a diagram that is already on here can be used. just looking for a basic diagram that shows where relays, if needed, fuses , grounds and terminals should be tied and ended. thanks!!!

Actually, I can't say what a 94 KZP is wired like. I assume it has electronic ignition, so that would be different from the 77-78 1000. I would need a diagram to work from to check the charging system etc. If you have a link, that would be great.
