I just bought a complete dual front brake set up off of a GPZ 900 off e-bay. I hope and think these will bolt onto my z1 forks, and work wuth the dual disk LTD 1000 Mag wheel i have. It comes complete with the callipers, brake lines, splitter, and even the line that goes to the master cylinder. All though they will all be swapped for the stainless braided lines......all shiny and Purtty. Here is the link to the callipers. Thanks, Jim

i dunno, i talked to steell and he thinks they will work and am really hoaping they will, they should look pretty slick on the old z1. They were only $40 with free shipping, if they don't work i can always put em back on ebay.

Those are floating calipers like the KZ's, look quite similar to 83-85 GPz750 and 83-84 GPz1100.

Mount those on the 12" rotors from the KZ1000 instead of the 10" rotors they're normally used on, and see what an extra inch of leverage does :)

They don't cover as much of the disk as the original KZ calipers, so it will leave an inch or so showing where the original brake pad covered.

cool, as long as they stop the old girl nice and quick. Anything is an upgrade from the stock single disc up front and drum in the back right???

Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes they fit. I went outside today and the GPZ 900 Dual calipers bolt on perfectly to the z1 900 forks, i only bolted one side on.......here is a pic. Look's pretty good huh? When i reasemble the bike the forks will be swapped to opposing sides, and the calipers will sit in the back. Here is a pic for ya.
