PS. I also forgot to mention You will pay a pretty peny for a "17 tire, that size is usually only used on large touring bikes. The 16" however is very common and are very cheap.

It's an MT90-16 which should be about a or 150. or just over 5.75 inches wide with a 90% profile height. This gives really good handelling performance.What size tire did you put on your LTD Wheel? Thanks

your z1r looks pretty complete,who built the handle bars?
triangle when i got my 1978 z1r my dad had already put a 19" front and a 16" rear on the bike to get the axles at different heights to help combat the high speed wobble.it must have worked because i never had any speed wobble problems.burnt up 7 topends because of low gearing tho,i was a slow study.
glad it will be kept in the family,keep us posted now that you got the picture/vista thing figured out.
