These are the points I'm speaking of, the blue parts. The Japanese were horrrible welders and it would look much better with tube bracing rather than crap welded sheet metal. Probably get better air flow to the engine as well. All in all it seems like a pretty easy job for a competant welder. Any thoughts? Other that making sure the tank cushions has a propper place to sit it should be OK correct.?.

Don't forget about your exhaust mounting points when cutting off the rear footpeg mounting brackets..
Good point!! I would have figured that out AFTER I cut them off! :woohoo:
