Who goofed: Me or the Tireman?

I'm trying to attach a picture of the Rear Hub Assembyl from the LTD Supplement.
Here goes....

LTDRider to the rescue! Thanks for the hub assembly scan. That's a much clearer representation than the Kaw on-line diagrams. It's what I used to have in my now missing supplement book. No bike shops open today to reverse that tire so, I'll work on handlebar controls and other stuff. So LTDRider, is the Morris wheel 8 holes on 1-side and 6 on the other just an LTD thing? Must be because of the rear disk brake. At least for that year and above?

Interesting, must be a difference between the "Made for Kawasaki" Morris Mags and the Aftermarket ones.
Here is a pic of the Morris Mag off my 79 twin, the difference is obvious

skippr76KZ: a little bit off topic.. but your brake rotors are looking brand new ! Did you have them turned down or are they new ? I havent figured out if its possible to get bike rotors turned down..

Looks like 8 bolts hold the Coupling Housing (item 20 on the scaned diagram) to the wheel. So the wheel has 8 tapped holes on the sprocket side.
The disc is held to the disc adapter (item 23) with 6 bolts. But I can't tell if the wheel is drilled with 6 or 8 holes on the disc side, and the disc adapter 'compensates'. I'm not sure, but it may not be possible to put the disc/sprocket on the 'wrong side'.
I laughed when I saw that you're building the bike in your house. You have an understanding wife!:lol:

I took my rotors to a local engine machine shop that had a "flywheel" re-surfacer or re-facer. A common thing for them. My rotors were well within speck. He charged me $20 bucks apiece. LTDRider - Thanks again. My Morris wheel has 8 tapped holes on one side, (sprocket) and 6 tapped holes on the other, (disk).
