+1, a set of these are always one of the first things I do to a new bike...even my brand new ER6n!

Be sure if you get the Oury to inquire on the date stamp. You can't use them if they are over 2 yrs old as rubber is no longer safe after that long. Also replace when tread wears to 2/32" regardless of age.
How often do you have to rotate them?

I have a 1980 kz1000 mark2 chain drive bike that I am doing a frame off restoration on...
If you're doing a restoration definitely go with stock; anything else will stick out like a sore thumb. Ed

On and off in seconds using compressed air rubber cone tip between edge of grip and handlebar, and no glue or hairspray needed.
Have not hardened, but bike is garaged.
5" length is 1/8" shorter than oem KZ900-B1 LTD.
Good Fortune!
