I bought a parts KZ1000 today. It's been sitting in a backyard for about 15 years. It has a Vetter fairing and saddlebags too. I don't want 'em, just wondering if there's a market for this stuff? Plastic appears intact but probably needs new paint.
Aloha, Mike
Some large four Kawasaki models came fully Vetter equipped off the showroom floor. Fairing, bags, luggage rack, and trunk, all painted to match.
Many owners of basic bikes added Vetter components, usually beginning with fairing.
Shipping expenses will be a factor. (Location?)
As will condition. (Pics?)
Good Fortune!

Also go the removable suitcase handle rear bags and mounts from the same fellow, $50, keys, a few scratches. They were from a CB, so I made the front fairing mount.
And I just sold the CB mount, thanks Ebay, So I have less than $70 in mine.

Condition - probably not good but the plastic appears intact. I will take pics after I pick them up. Was kind of wondering if I should just let the guy throw them away but there might be someone out there who's dying for a Vetter fairing.
Yes shipping is a factor. Parcel post seems the best way to go to/from Hawaii. I did just have a good experience with Fedex 7 day though. They fly the parcel to the west coast and truck from there, for a little more than parcel post + much faster than USPS.
I'll get back to you with pics.

I'm not sure if the post office will take a box big enough for this. It can be shipped via ocean freight from Hawaii. Don't know the cost, I guess another $50.
Also has two saddle bags, same color. The fairing is really dirty because it was sitting in a guy's backyard for about 15 years. It was covered so I think the paint is not too bad. I'm harvesting parts from the KZ1000 in the background.
