Then send me the Suki swingarm.
Anyway, you can run a die down the threaded rod, make more threads and cut down the length to shorten it.

depends, i put a 150 on mine and thats about it without a offset sprocket and a change of brake arms
I swear I saw somewhere that a 160 was the max before chain rub...but I could be wrong. Can't find it anymore anyways.

I just bought a 77 KZ1000 and I was thinking about changing out the front end for more stopping power. I can get an 86 Kawasaki 900 ninja for a few hundred bucks but I'm not sure if the steering stems match up. I'm also thinking about changing the swing arm out too and taking the monoshock suspension and suspension from the ninja. You think it would be a good purchase?
It would be more polite to start your own thread rather than hijacking this one, but to answer your questions, the front end is not such a big deal, you'll need to swap the kz stem into the ninja triple clamp. The monoshock is doable, but requires a good bit of fabrication work. Use the search function on this forum and you'll come across a thread or two no both subjects.
Try this for a start--
