KZ1000 VIN Sticker was created by mopguy
I am getting my frame powder coated and apparently the people doing the work said that they cannot save the sticker on the frame with the VIN due to the sandblasting and the temperature in the oven. They said that they are going to take a digital picture and maybe have someone can make a duplicate. I called Redline Cycle and they will do it for their bikes only. Any body have any ideas on what I should do? Thanks, Tony.

I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

BTW it's not a vin sticker. The vin is stamped in the frame. The only thing people have a problem with is the font on the new sticker.

I called Z1 Enterprises in New York and they hooked me up with a company in Canada called BDesigns out of Kitchener, Onario, and they will make me one identical to the one I am going to loose in the sandblasting process, if anyone is inerested they can e-mail brian@bdesigns.ca.

In California you don't need that sticker, the VIN is stamped in the frame and that is the number used by the DMV

I guess we dont need one here either to put the bike on the road, however I like to keep the frame as original as possible, and believe me these stickers are not that easy to duplicate, if you are doing a full restoration.

I order parts from them all the time and stop at the London store when I am out that way. They stopped making these stickers a few years ago.
