Does anyone know where I can get a set (all three) of brake rotors for my KZ1000M CSR? Mine are trashed and I cannot seem to find any on the internet. My bike has the laced aluminum wheels.

I believe they have both the stock-ish looking ones and EBC Pro-Lite's that would work. Didn't search for your exact bike, though.

They do not have them. I am a machinist but I am very reluctant to machine my rotors. I know that it is not recomended to machine motorcycle rotors. My front ones are bad, my back one is scary bad.The dealer said that when Kawi still made them that they were $308.00 each. Rotors fror my Harley are only $105.00 apiece. I have a problem then.

There is a cross reference for parts on this site somewhere. Maybe Patton will read this and post it for you. You might PM him.
Yours are the six bolt type aren't they?
I would think there would be several bikes that share the same rotors.
You are right about turning them. I think your type has no extra meat there to turn. Roy

Yes, they are pretty thin already. I thought about Blanchard grinding them but they have a hub rivited to them that is offset.

I'm sure Z1E can get them. What year is your bike?

Weird - looks like those rotors on the front were *only* for the CSR.

You could try picking up a used one from another 4 bolt hub model and see if they fit, but the offset might be different.

EBC Part #'s for the front appear to be MD4080LS and MD4080RS.
Call Z1E and see if they can get them.

EBC Part# for Rear Disk is MD4054 and matches a lot of other Kz1000's including the later Police bikes.

I started calling the motorcycle salvage yards and i am waiying for return phone calls. There is a salvage yard in Fitchburg MA called Skycycle that is about 45 miles from Boston.
