Good tires for a 82 KZ750R1 was created by stocksj
As part of my fix up on my project GPZ750, I need to replace both tires. What are some good, high mileage tire I could use. This bike will mainly be used for daily commuting and weekend riding. I don't plan on carving any corners at my age. Would something similiar to the OEM be decent?


Front 100/90-19
Rear 120/90-18

I just put the Barracudas on my KZ650 and although they're fresh and new I'm impressed so far. The price was unreal and they seem to grip just right on dry or wet. Just my two bits.

Well, on second thought, they have a weakness: they REALLY don't like gravel.

tires are one of those things that you shouldnt base on how cheap you can get them,trust me ive been down that road!:lol: you need to make sure the tires get traction when you need it this includes braking.continentel makes decent tires for what you are talking about metzeler/pirelli also makes good touring type tires.;)

I found some nice tires on Dennis kirk and bought the C926 Barracuda for the front and C915 Barracudas for the back. $95 including shipping, no too bad.
