Best way to remove bottom race from lower triple??

triple tree??
bought a set of all balls bearings replaced the races in the frame with no ptoblems
was gonna wait for my front end but I am running out of time for the blessing
and gonna throw the old forks back on to make the blessing and order another set of
bearings for the new front end any help appreciated
my new job has limited my time on projects and I get a little lazy lol

When I did mine I carefully cut part way through mine using a Dremel cut-off wheel then snapped it off the rest of the way with a chisel. Looking at the official tool makes me think a person could make one similar to it using a couple pieces form car muffler clamps and 2 bolts (see second pic). You might try that to see if it has potential if you have a couple old muffler clamps handy. Ed

Actually...I just purchased the correct tool for this job (57001-135) as it is still available from Kawasaki...pricey, but I am a firm believer in the correct tool.

Yes...sort of...at least the bottom part of the tool I purchased resembles '1675'
