tire change help needed in Bellevue, WA was created by silverhands
Howdy! My 1977 KZ650 and I are new to the forum. I need to change out a rear tire (to ride on the fourth). I've never done this particular repair. I have tools but no stand and no other vehicle to do the running around once the wheel is off the bike. I had posted an ad on Craig's list, offering $50 and someone suggested I ask here... so I'm asking. Thanks!

If you put your bike on the centerstand you can remove your rear tire. As for the rest of it unless you change the tire yourself I have no solution. Maybe someone is near you but as for getting it by the 4th...wellll....

Great way to scar up your wheels :)

These are a lot better and are like the ones I use.

I got it on sale for $70, and it was well worth it to me, but I change several car/truck tires a year.
It would have cost me $90 to get the tires changed on my wifes Jeep Cherokee, so it more than paid for itself the first time I used it. And it only took me ~1/2 hour to switch 8 tires on two vehicles :)
I have not used it on bike tires yet, but I expect it will work just as well on them.

i think 1/2 hour for eight tires is a lil exageration ,but hey if its not show me how cause it will impress my bos at the auto shop i work at if i could change tires that quick 4 tires takes me 45-an hour to instal and balance....just pullin ur chain dude !!,lol
