sidecar install was created by K.D. HART
Took this bike I put together
[IMG

and want to add a sidecar to it for my dog. I slid the sidecar next to the bike and propped it up.
[IMG

the dog jumped right in.

He has rode in a sidecar before.

I've read all about the lean and toe in, but any ideas where to find parts to attach the sidecar to my bike?
Can I also adjust ride height with the torsion setup?
This is what I have.

I am gonna be following this one! I am sure I would miss leaning but mebbe a 2nd dedicated dog bike would be cool!
I have been telling my dog for a while now, that I am going to get her a sidecar....
(I don't think she believes me, LOL!)

That blue KZ650-C1 has good looking original paint, exhaust, & forks. It's a shame the owner apparently has a death wish. I wonder if he has a clue about the fact that the front tire is important?  Ed

I suggest trying to spread the load over as large an area of the frame tubes as possible. The frame tubes are just a hair thicker than tissue paper and are mild steel. I've seen the kickstand peel the frame open due to a kid sitting on the bike while on the side stand.

Looks like a Velorex mount might work.

Look them up online and call them.
They sold me a mount recently for this little thing...

Puffin,
Over the winter I had z1wiz put new seals and oil put in the forks and I put All Balls bearing in the wheels and neck, but finally ready to hook the two together. I called Motivation and they referred me to John Dennis of Fairfax Ia.
Good news, he's only 20 min from me. Bad news, it's expensive to hook the two together. :S
