I had a rear shock blow out, originial stuff.
I ordered progressive 412 shocks with standard springs and progressive front fork springs.
Should be here Tuesday, this was one of the more economical choices.
Looking for reviews from folks who run this set up.

My rear shock just kinda puked all the oil out while sitting, was dripping down on the wheel and tire.
It's got to be an improvement.

I got the progressive (brand) gas shocks for my rears along with progressive springs and they are way better than stock.MadShad wrote: So I know it's a little late to ask opinions since Ive already ordered them :side:

What air pressure are you running in the tires? Ed

The only problem is that they don't come in the length I would like. They are about 1/8" shorter than stock 81 gpz550 shocks. I ordered longer ones and cut them down.

Low 30's,
The new shocks and springs should be sitting on my porch when I get home!

Offset set one way causes the bottom of shock to hit my muffler, offset the other way causes the lower portion of the spring to nearly hit my chain.
