Front rim from Z1 Enterprise was created by tomsbadkz
I see that Z1E has a front 19" rim to fit my KZ. Its only $69. I know it's a steel rim, but is it a decent rim? I want a nice rim and I know that Z1 Enterprise sells good stuff. I plan on racing on occasion at the drag strip and was wandering if this would be ok for 140MPH blasts at the track?

Looks good to me. I wonder how good the cheaper spoke set is?

BTW the Z1 hub is bigger so the cheap set won't work for me.

I am not saying that this is inferior rim. I have no idea what quality it is but, why would you even consider not purchasing the best money can buy for hitting speeds of 140 mph?

Thats why I'm on here asking. I like the products from Z1E, but I also want to be safe. Like I said I DO already have the good Buchannon spoke set.

I like their products also. I guess I was just saying be safe man. At 140 there isn't much room for error.

Oh, I want to be safe. The Excel rim from Buchannan is probably the best on the market, in my opinion. I do want to run a spoke wheel and I'm gonna put on a staging disc for looks and functionality. ;)

All of my spoke rims and Lester wheels are 35-40 years old. I think the $69 rim will be okay as long as it fits properly.

Front wheel....140 on a smooth drag strip is less tortuous than 35 on a pot-hole riddled street....if the rim is DOT approved for your bike's weight and speed and made from stamped and rolled / welded sheet steel, I would trust that. I'd be more concerned about choosing V or Z rated tires....
