Front mud guard was created by shifterkart26
Does anyone make a front fender mud guard extension for a 74 Z1? Or, is there a substitute that can be modified to fit? Thanks in advance!

Noticed you have the same pit stand I have, If you break any of the roller wheels I found hockey pucks are the same thickness and diameter, just drill a hole thru the center - cheap fix. You can guess how I know.

I had a 1975 Honda Elsinore cr 125 (almost 50 years ago!) and it had one on front of front fender. You could probably find one reproduction and use it for back of front fender?

Pyramid makes fender extenders. They don't list one for Z1's, but there might be an existing item that could be adapted.

We installed on non our '09 ST1300A years ago. It fit & works fine. The ST1300 front fenders are quite abbreviated at the rear. The extender keeps the lower front chin fairing much cleaner.

Get creative! Find a piece of quality 304 stainless steel. Shape it on an anvil, or English wheel, same rounded tip for bottom, form it in to the inside and then polish it like chrome.
Use the new 2 part tube glue from a collision shop for panel adhesion!
Then done! Clean, Classy and Cool.
Or, of course, just another fender, cut what you want and glue that on.
If I had a Z1 fender here I’d whip one up.

Get up on eBay and search Kawasaki part number 35019-1005 and you'll arrive at a rear fender flap for a KZ1000-R2...which may work for you.

! I ordered a couple that may be close enough to work even if I need to modify slightly.

. It belonged to a good friend that passed away. So I purchased it from his widow and am doing a complete restoration. I am getting close to the end.
