Yep, call Jeff at Z1, if they are just for appearance then he will tell you so, if they are good shocks also, then he will tell you that.

Editted the thread as well :(

What gives?

I start a thread asking if anyone is interested in a product and it gets locked and in the process get told NOT to post any commercial advertising (which I didnt). Here we have a commercial add and I identified as such and my post gets deleted......strange......

$200 per pair plus shipping
2 year warranty

It is my company producing them. The brand name is

Vipex

We are a relatively new engineering company currently developing high performance motorcycle products. We plan on being around for a long time and are growing slowly.
I need to post a bigger picture of this product so everyone at this forum can get a better perspective on their superb fit and finish.

Now do you see the difference?

I definatly noticed a tighter ride in the corners and my GF noticed a better ride.
I just put on a set 2 wks. ago.
I'll have to wait to see how long they last.

it wasnt an add, you identified wrong, he was asking if anyone tried out the shocks Jeff sells so he could get any pros/cons. he wasnt advertising them, or trying to sell them....just looking for any first hand knowledge on them

I can certainly appreciate your point. In all honesty I believe your interpretation is more accurate. However, cutting and pasting a product picture and commercial website link seems to be very clearly outlawed in the rules and since those links,as I have been told, are only permitted as part of ones signature. It should have been deleted as a result

quoted from rules; (highlighted area is on point)

"PRODUCT OR SERVICE ADVERTISING IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN
KZrider.com is not a place for you to solicit sales of any kind. No member is allowed to refer to their own business, or any business to which he/she is associated, through the discussion forum or personal messaging system (U2U). The only exception is that each member is allowed a simple link ( somesite.com ) in their signature. The link shall include no description of any kind."

I wont post anything else related to this since it is a tech forum and I am off topic and will respect that.

That would be really wise.

You mean all those ads that I get in my mailbox each week, and the ones that make the Sunday Edition of my local newspaper two inches thick, are not really ads because they don't specifically state "Please buy"?

This is getting ridiculous.

Getting ideas and opinions about different products and parts from other members of this site is part of what defines this site and makes it good for all of us. I do not believe the person in the original post is in any way associated with Z1 Enterprises so there is no violation that I can see.
