I've been painting for years and have painted four members bikes and they loved my work. I live in So Caland you'd have to pay for the shipping on top of the paint job price.

Whoever you choose make sure you see their work in detailed, high resolution pics. If they send a pic of a tank make sure you get pics of the whole tank, underneath, gas filler area and all. Spraying paint on the flat surfaces is easy. It gets harder when you spray around bolt holes, edges and so on. I have seen lots of pics of Marks work and it looks to be top quality. I can't speak for anyone elses work but it miht be just as nice. Just do your homeowork and you should be fine.

wow thanx for input guys.
who ever i choose has to do
a nice job obviously and get the right
color green im nearly finished welding
billet aircraft filler cap.
just have to do a touch up on one weld
as it leaked a tiny bit when we filled it
with water to check for leaks.
then i will be asking for prices and a look
at something you have painted.
plus im undecided on whether to use a bakini faring i have and get a belly pan too as it all should be done at the same time.
i have a spare set of paintwork so time it will take
really isnt a problem for who ever paint it for me,
id just like to thank this community for all their help and advise over the last yr i dont think i could have got as far as i have with out the help and support of ppl here.
thx guys.

Thanks for the nice words fastestz1. Ido top noch work at low prices for guys here. Remember to check your welded areas with around 8 PSI. in the tank, the shaking gas will build some presure when riding around. I would like a part with the real color to match up the paint. My set for my bike is just close as I mixed it with nothing to go by, just how I thought it should be in my head which is a little off anyway.

If you have any of the original green left on the bike most paint stores can scan and computer match it.

To all you guys who paint professionally - how long do you wait for the paint ty dry, and what type of tape do you use when you're taping off the next coat? Is the 3M green or blue painter's tape pretty much the best stuff?
