To me, that's your bike. The grey line could be a fade, or even a masked and sanded line between the textures, without the pinstripe at all. In real light it would look cool. I do alot of actual painting with the cans to see how my drawing really looks in the sun. It's just paint. I'll fix it when it looks like the look I want.

No, that's a drawing, but the almost finished seat is very, very close to that in shape, and navy blue in color. I think I've figured it out, and am going to cover it myself (famous last words.) The latest try.

Bkitchen, do you have any pics with the faring on? I'm really anxious to see that. Here's the thing..your bike is one of my favorite cafe' bikes, because I think it captures the essence of what those guys were doing. My bike isn't really it, even though I have referred to it as a cafe' project in some threads. I really went a whole other direction as my original idea spiraled out of control. :woohoo: :silly:
Yours has the spoked wheels, and the raw attitude of the guys back then. For example, until someone puts on a low seat and bars like that, they have no idea what a performance mod those two things really amount to. Especially the seat, from the standpoint of surprise...who would figure it? If I can swing a 400 or something, I'll make one along those same, lines...more like yours, that is.
That's why I like the black on black so much...hoping I didn't hijack your thread. With the faring pics, some other ideas might come out.

My son Chris really likes the last one...I have to say I do too, (duh) and I really thing the rest is whatever you come up with. Your bike has to say what you want it to, regardless of my favorite. Besides, I like'm all!
