I used Mothers chrome polish to wipe it down after the installation. Never used wax on chrome, what wax do you recommend?

Any good thick wax works good, ive had good luck with 3 good coats of turtle wax.
Ive got some other wax around here someplace called black ice or something like that that works good also.

YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEVER but NEVER use chrome polish on chrome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is abrasive and will ruin chrome in a heartbeat!! Use NON-abrasive stuff only. Chrome is literally only a couple MILLIONTHS of an inch thick so it cannot be "polished." To clean it Windex or Invisible Glass work fine. Was is good too, just be positive it is wax not anything that contains any abrasives. Ed

Really? I've been using Mothers chrome polish on my chevelle's chrome parts, my softail's chrome, which is alot, and on my kz's chrome for many years. I NEVER use aluminum polish on chrome.

Rode the bike tonight then wiped down the chrome with windex as 650ed recommended and it did a great job shining up the chrome. I've heard about using windex years ago but i never tried it, thanks 650ed. Gonna coat it with some turtle wax to see if it protects it as PLUMMEN recommended. Thanks again.
