You, if you opt for the brown scheme...and you let it sit in the sun for 20 years, it'll fade to green...now all are happy

Thankz Doc the helmet paint and stripes were done to replicate the factory sales brochure for the Aust Z900A4, the Diamond Brown does look stunning when new and shinny, but when it does fade, doesn't look as nice as a faded Dark Diamond Green.

You could paint left side green
Right side brown.
That way when you go down the road people see a green bike, and when you come back the same people will see its now brown.

I always think brown is quite a goofy colour - even 'diamond brown' - coming form the guy with a banana yellow gpz...
A good paint job is expensive or very time consuming even if you do it yourself, quite an investment. Something to consider regarding future resale value and colour preferences.
What I like about mk1 zeds is the curvy lines, quite different to the angular chiselled gpz lines. Those curves look so nice in a candy or deep metallic imo. Brown is too boring  .

I'd do green too. I don’t think anyone kept track of colors vs sales back then, but green was by far the more popular color choice in 1976 of the two choices. At least my opinion. I can't really ever remember seeing a brown one in person.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

I say green but I do like it better when it's faded than freshly green. If wanting to change color all together I'd go yellow so bright you will need sun glasses to look at it at night. Saw this 900 on the net. Awesome!!!!
