I did the rims on my truck 3 years ago. The only place that's messed up is where the tire shop removed the wheel weights to change the tire.
I also did my bike tank once. It held up ok, even to slight gas drips. But where the seat touches the tank, started to rub off from the friction of the seat, but I can't really blame that on the dip.

I paint my car rims with it every winter to keep the salt and grit from damaging them. I smoked my tail lights with it too. I love it. Easy to peel off and gives a cool look, when your over it...just peel it off and its relatively cheap
