Which clear did you use?

Back in the day I worked at a shop with a full PPG mixing station and the boss gave me the run of the place after hours and on the weekends. I painted a couple of bicycle frames I built back then and fell in love with the Concept 2001 clear. That was back before the VOC scare forced solids reductions in all the clears. Anyway, that 2001 was thick but it flowed out nicely and didn't have any tendency to run. Good stuff.

The clear I used is DCU 2042. Had to drive over to the next county to get it because it's illegal to sell here

Just had "another" guy flag me down to ask me about my bike and to tell me how much he loves this color blue (or very close to it as you know).
1978 KZ650 b-2
700cc Wiseco kit 10 to 1.
1980 KZ750 cam, ape springs, stock clutch/ Barnett springs.
Vance and Hines Header w/ comp baffle and Ape pods, Dyna S and green coils, copper wires.
29MM smooth bores W/ 17.5 pilots, 0-6s and 117.5 main
16/42 gearing X ring chain and alum rear JT sprocket.

That is a beautiful KZ650! I really don't know why, but to me blue is the best color on that model bike. Ed
