I've done a bit more work on the seat. I got some material from the craft store. It's not really artificial leather. It's more like some of the material you would see on a high quality weather suit. A bit streachy and looks pretty durable. The "teeth" that hold it on, the seat pan, don't cause any tearing. This is kind of a second approximation, as it still needs a lot of work, but other than some smoothing, and a bit more shapeing, I can't do much more until I get the bike running and see how it feels and what alterations it needs. The "sissy bar" is just setting there, I wanted to see how it would look.

get a nice thin piece of foam maybe like an qurter inch thick and just glue it to the top. But forst off whne doing this you should always cut the top layer off and svae it so you can re glue it later. good luck

I've been thinking of doing this, maybe w/memory foam. I may not have to cut too much off the top, because I think I'm going to have to build it back up a little. Now I hafta find a piece of 1/4 in memory foam, that's not 9 ft. long. (standard length at foam store)
Thanks for the thought.
