Looked at the thread links you provided. It is pretty sad that it is so difficult to match these colors. I have four bikes which I will be resoring all in that 74-77 time frame and will be wretling with the paint all the way. I did find a (NEW) factory reject fuel tank for my 77-1000 in Red and will use that for my color match for that bike. I also have a brand new side cover for a 75-900 in Blue, and a 78-1000 tail piece in Green. I'l get these colors right one of these days.
